The 25th was the most fun of all the days in
orientation. We got to walk around Rome the whole day! First we went to the Coliseum
with a guide, and was quite interesting. After, the guide took us to this
gelato place, it had more than 150 flavors, it was just amazing. We all got are gelatos and went to the
Fontana di Trevi, which is my favorite place in Roma, even though it was not my
first time there, it always feels special somehow. Then we got to go to the
Spanish steps, there we were given free time to shop and walk around. A friend
and me went shopping for a bit, then got coffee and sat in the Spanish steps
just talking and admiring Roma. By the end of the day everyone got a little
emotional, because we would all miss each other and also everyone was scared to
meet their host families. At orientation I made so many friends, and everyone
was really nice, it was sad having to leave.
